American Gold Eagle sets are popular with coin collectors and precious metals investors who want proof examples of all gold eagle denominations from a certain year. American Gold Eagle sets generally include one proof example of each gold eagle denomination, include the tenth-ounce with a face value of $5, the $10 quarter-ounce, $25 half-ounce, and $50 one-ounce coins.
