1890-CC One Dollar MS Values

Details

One of the scarcest CC-mint Morgan dollars, the 1890-CC is a popular coin that is well sought by collectors. While plenty of pieces can be found in the marketplace on any given day, the overall demand outstrips supply and thus premiums run high on this piece. They are readily available through approximately MS64, though supplies drop sharply in the MS65 level and this piece is downright rare in MS66. PLs and DMPLs follow a similar availability bell curve, though with far fewer numbers of these relative to the number of typical MS examples in any given level.

up This coin is made of 90% silver; 10% copper and has a current melt value of $51.95
