Morgan Carson City Mint One Dollar MS Values

Details

Carson City Morgan Dollars were struck intermittently between 1878 and 1893. Many of the coin struck never saw the light of day until the GSA (US Government Services Agency) release them in a marketing promotion in the 1970s in black plastic packaging. The majority of the GSA releases were 1882, 1883, and 1884 and they are the most common CC-dollars today. The key to the series is the 1889-CC but the 1879-CC the 1893-CC issues are also quite valuable, especially in higher grades.
