Details

1863 $10. Struck in copper with gilt (gold-plated) surfaces. Same design as the 1863 Liberty eagle with the exception of GOD OUR TRUST on the motto in the ribbon instead of the usual IN GOD WE TRUST.

Obverse: Regular Liberty die of the year.

Reverse: Similar to regular die of the year but with GOD OUR TRUST on scroll; die first used in 1861 for J-284.
