1863 Half Dollar. A continuation of the experimental model series begun in 1861. Seven sets of originals said to have been struck, and restrikes exist. Copper impressions usually with bronzed surfaces.

Obverse: Regular Liberty Seated die of the year.

Reverse: Similar to regular die of the year but with GOD OUR TRUST on scroll; die first used in 1861 for J-277.
