Obverse Description
Recutting, defect OBV. 9-s3. Same as 9-s2 except not so much of the recutting shows at top of Y and the small defect near top of 6 no longer shows. Early die states may exist without any die cracks.
Reverse Description
Lowest berry has no stem REV. L. A1LE, A2LE, A3UH. Five berries, the lowest one has no stem and is about centered under last A in AMERICA. The upper two berries have heavy stems joined at base. A star point is joined to tip of beak. Right base of F missing. Point of leaf under I just left of center. A die crack crosses lower tip of eagle's tail feathers and circles to left joining top of UNITED, then above S and through upper part of TATE on later die states. (65,65,64,63,60) R.3 108
