Greysheet Catalog Details (GSID: 11895)
The 1792 disme occurs in one silver variety and two copper varieties, all of which are extremely rare, with J-10 more readily available than the others. Dies attributed to Henry Voigt.
Obverse: Liberty with flowing hair, quite similar style to J-1, but oriented in the opposite direction. The inscription surrounding is familiar: LIBERTY PARENT OF SCIENCE & INDUS., while the date 1792 is below the neck.
Reverse: Similar to J-7 through J-8 half dismes. Eagle in flight with outstretched wings head toward top of coin, tail below. UNI. STATES OF AMERICA around, DISME below.
