Collected over many years, this group of coins follows the magnificent selection sold in the firm’s Summer 2026 Global Showcase, an event that garnered strong bids totaling nearly $2.5 million, and resulting in record breaking prices.

The main catalog of the November sale will also feature selections from the Chase Collection that are beyond the scope of his passion for the Walking Liberty half dollars. Among the many lots will be found impressive small cents, Buffalo nickels, Mercury dimes, type coins, gold issues, patterns and even an example of the prized 1879 Flowing Hair Stella.

“The Mack C. Chase Collection is a world class cabinet featuring one of the most beautiful and enduring designs of the 20th century,” stated Brian Kendrella, president of Stack’s Bowers Galleries. “The series is very popular with collectors, but many dates are quite challenging in the top Mint State grades. With many of these half dollars off the market for several decades, today’s collectors are getting their first opportunity to bid on some truly incredible coins.”
