The Banco Nacional Ultramarino series of Timor in the World Currency contains 0 distinct entries.

On 16 May 1864, the Banco Nacional Ultramarino (National Overseas Bank, BNU) was established in Lisbon as a private issuing bank for Portugal’s overseas territories. Over time, BNU would issue notes in Angola, Cape Verde, Macau, Mozambique, Portuguese Guinea, Portuguese India, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Timor.

BNU established a representative in Timor in 1902, and opened a branch in the capital Dili in 1912.
