The Xinjiang Provincial Bank (XJP) was established in 1949 after a reorganization of the Xinjiang Commercial and Industrial Bank (B54501). All Xingjiang Provincial Bank notes are signed twice by the same signatory, once in Uyghur script at lower left back and once in Chinese script at lower right back.
On 1 October 1950, the Xinjiang Provincial Bank was merged into the People’s Bank of China (B4001).
