About Confederate States of America

A tiny number of cents and half dollars Struck by Confederacy. So few, in fact, that they were unknown to collectors until 1873 when so-called "re-strikes" appeared on the market struck from the original dies. The few known "original" coins that exist today sell for over $100,000 to well over $1 million.
