2016-W Silver Eagle, Burnished One dollar MS 30th Anniversary Values
Details
Special strike $1 American Silver Eagles are a collectible variety of the popular one-ounce silver bullion coin series issued by the United States Mint since 1986, struck with so-called "burnished" (soft, sand-blasted) surfaces. Popular for their unique surface appearance, they are also desirable for having much lower mintages than their proof-surface counterparts of the same year.
Obverse: The obverse design features a refreshed depiction of Adolph A. Weinman’s full-length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left.
Reverse: The reverse design features a stylized heraldic eagle design by John Mercanti.
