2008-S Clad Proof Set Cent-$1 PR 14 Coins Values

Details

Original Packaging: The options and packaging used for the 2008-S Proof sets were essentially identical to those of 2007 with respect to the three plastic holders. The outer boxes, however, reverted in style to that used prior to 2006. New York’s Statue of Liberty returned to grace the front cover, and this year’s box looked just like that of 2005 and the years immediately preceding. All packaging for the state-quarter Proof set and the Presidential Proof set, both inside and outside, was similar to that employed in 2007.

Commentary: There was no American Legacy Collection offered for 2008. With only one commemorative silver dollar for this year, perhaps it was deemed undesirable to offer such a set, as this would require retooling the center panel.
