The 1950 Philadelphia-minted Lincoln cent is a considerably tough in uncirculated grades of MS64 or higher. Interestingly, this issue is one of several different Philadelphia issues from the late 1940s and early 1950s that remarkably scarce in Gem grades. In MS67 the 1950 Philly Lincoln cent is extremely rare.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
