1939 Doubled Die Obverse One Cent MS BN FS-101 Values
Details
1939 Lincoln cents are extremely common in all grades through MS66 and are scarcer in higher grades. However, a vast quantity of 1939 Philly cents exhibit excellent strike and color, leaving plenty of opportunity to find a superb example with relatively little challenge.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
