1911 $2.50 Gold MS Values

Details

The specifications of the 1911 Indian Quarter Eagle are really no different from the preceding 1910 including the slight scarcity. Similar to the other early years from this series only the finest and most stunning examples are rare and garner great searching and premiums paid. What makes the 1911 unique are the specifics of its looks as it shares the grainy surfaces of the 1910 but lacks in luster and displays odd, dull coloring. There is nothing notable about the strike of this issue so any crisp, sharp examples are a hot commodity.

up This coin is made of 90% gold; 10% silver & copper and has a current melt value of $583.25
