1910 Matte Finish One Cent PR RB Values

Details

As are all 1909-1916 matte proofs, the 1910 proof Lincoln cent is scarce in the strictest sense, but perhaps more frequently encountered than other early proofs. While the 1910 Lincoln cent may appear similar to business strikes of the same year, there are some subtle but important differences between both types of coins. The proofs feature finer details, granular surfaces, and squared-off rims.

Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portait and the date postioned on the right side.

Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
