1879 Half Dollar

Obverse: Morgan’s Liberty Head. Liberty facing left, same style as used on the regular silver dollar. Coronet with LIBERTY incused, with heads of wheat, cotton and bolls above. E PLURIBUS UNUM at top border, seven stars left, six stars right, date 1879 below.

Reverse: Large perched eagle holding an olive branch (with seven leaves) and three arrows. IN GOD WE TRUST in arc around lower part of eagle. Around border, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / HALF DOLLAR.
