1877 Quarter Dollar. Not confirmed in modern times, but at least two silver-plated copper pieces have been studied.
Obverse: Barber’s Liberty Head facing left, wearing coronet inscribed LIBERTY, with pearl border above, hair tied back with a ribbon. IN GOD WE TRUST above, stars to left and right, 1877 below.
Reverse: Regular die of the year.
