Obverse: Longacre’s Indian Princess design. Liberty facing left, wearing an Indian headdress, holding in her right hand a spear on top of which is a liberty cap, her left hand rests on a globe inscribed LIBERTY. Behind her are two flags, one with 22 stars. The signature LONGACRE is in the field below the base at the right.

Reverse: Open agricultural wreath enclosing 1 DOLLAR. STANDARD at border above.
