1850 Copper Pattern Cent PR RD J-121 Values

Details

Perforated with a cicular hole prior to striking. These patterns have a central perforation. The perforations on various specimens are not completely circular, but are irregular. It is likely that the planchet itself was perforated with a circular hole prior to striking, then during the striking process, the metal movement caused the edges of the perforation to become irregular in shape. • J-119, J-121, and J-123 are perforated. • J-120, J-122, and J-124 are unperforated.

Obverse: CENT above, 1850 below, with an ornamental rosette to left and right.

Reverse: USA above, ONE TENTH SILVER to the sides and below.
