Obverse Description
Star 8 more distant from cap than star 1 is from drapery OBV. 12. S1LE, S7UH-TOC, S8UH, S13UE. Long serifs on both 1's in date. 31 is lower than 18. A slight die crack through base of 31 to edge below 8 and to right of 1 into field. The die is bulged in area bounded by star 1 to star 4 to nose and then to bust. Small bulge in field near stars 10 and 11. Small bulge above 3 just left of curl. Crack between outer tips of stars 9 and 10.
Reverse Description
I is centered under the left side of T REV. F. A1B, A2C, A3C. 50 C. is 1 mm. and high. A-A is ½ mm. I is centered under left side of T. All lines of crossbars and stripes are usually sharp. E in AMERICA above M and R at base. E in UNITED is low. Third use of this reverse. This reverse was first used in 1830, REV. I, and again in 1831, O.107. (63,55,53,53,50) R.6
