Details

Restrikes. Silver restrikes include two from unrusted dies and apparently struck in a modified “close” collar; struck over quarter dollars of the 1804 through 1807 Draped Bust obverse, Heraldic Eagle reverse type. All copper restrikes are from rusted dies.

Obverse: Die used to strike 1827/3 quarter dollars.

Reverse: Die used to strike 1819 quarters of the Browning-2 variety (with square-base 2 in 25C, unlike the curl-base 2 on original strikings of 1827 quarters).
