Obverse Description
81 closer than either 18 OBV. 7. (see O.109) In this die marriage the few specimens seen indicate a worn and deteriorated die, with all stars drawn solidly to edge. Late die states show a crack from lower bust through tops of 18.
Reverse Description
Solid triple segment above R REV. D. A1UE, A2UE, A3UE. 50 C. is 1 ¾ mm. A-A is 1 mm. Left sides of D and T are in line with right sides of E and I. All observed specimens in this marriage show the die crack above TED STAT. (64,63,62,62,60) R.4
