Obverse Description
Defect at lower edge of bust OBV. 6. S1UE, S7UH-LHC, S8UE, S13C. Milling is usually quite weak and in many cases missing altogether. A prominent defect at lower edge of bust is just above and to left of the main lower curl. Star 13 has a scalloped point ½ mm. from curl. Date is 9 ¾ mm. Very early die states show full segments obverse and reverse.
Reverse Description
AM joined, tiny center dot REV. H. A1C, A2LE, A3C. Usually no milling at all or at best only a trace on this reverse. 50 C, is 1 ½ mm. and low. A-A is ¾ mm. Arrowheads well separated. Stand of E is centered under stand of D. Left sides of T-I in line. (65,64,63,63,62) R.2
