Details
Rare and desirable first-year issue for the American silver dollar. With a low mintage of around 1,700 coins, few survive. Problem-free examples with original surfaces are downright rare in any grade.

Obverse: The original design of Liberty, facing right, with hair flowing as if facing a slight breeze. 8 and 7 stars on the left and right periphery, respectively with the word LIBERTY across the top and the date positioned in the bottom center.
Reverse: A small eagle standing on branches surrounded by olive branches that are tied in a bow at the bottom. The words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the periphery. No denomination is mentioned.
