1776 Continental Dollar Dollar MS CURENCY, Silver Values

Details

Obverse: The obverse features a sundial basking in the rays of a blazing sun with a round face. Beneath the sundial are the words MIND YOUR BUSINESS (not an admonition to keep your nose out of other people’s business, but to focus your attention on your own affairs). FUGIO, referring to the fleeting nature of time, appears beneath the sun. Finally, CONTINENTAL CURRENCY appears in the outer circle, as does the date 1776.

Reverse: The reverse features joined links bearing the names of the 13 colonies surrounding AMERICAN CONGRESS and WE ARE ONE.
