(2026) Medal Calvin Coolidge, Silver, Matte Finish MS

Calvin Coolidge was the 30th President of the United States, serving from August 3, 1923, to March 4, 1929. Coolidge acceded to Presidency after the death in office of Warren G. Harding.

Obverse Description

The obverse depicts a bust of the President with the inscription “CALVIN COOLIDGE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.”

Reverse Description

The reverse, encircled by a stylized wreath of laurel, shows a seated female figure holding fasces (a symbol of authority), a heraldic eagle atop the shield of the United States, and a cornucopia. The inscriptions are "INAUGURATED," "AUG∙3∙1923 AND MAR∙4∙1925,” and "1928."
