The Hawaiian Department of Finance (FIN) fully backed its banknote issues with silver and gold deposits. All of the notes had handwritten signatures of the Registrar of Public Accounts at lower left front and the Minister of Finance at lower right front. The following table lists those officials reported to have signed notes.
