Reverse: To the right of center on a heptagonal field, the head of the feathered-serpent god Quetzalcóatl facing left, with the mintmark M above and QUETZALCOATL in small letters below. To the left of the head, stacked vertically, the denomination 5 / $. At the bottom, the date.
