1916-W (2026) Best of the Mint Gold Half Dollar SP Values

Details

Designed by Adolph A. Weinman, the original Walking Liberty was a triumph of numismatic artistry—Lady Liberty striding confidently toward the rising sun, draped in the American flag—a powerful symbol of hope on the horizon, freedom, forward momentum, and the enduring spirit of a young nation. It’s artistry and symbolism were so enduring, they inspired the design of the American Silver Eagle introduced in 1986.

The coins bear a special Semiquincentennial Liberty Bell privy mark with the numeral “250” and has a 1 oz. silver companion medal, featuring new and modern designs, inspired by the 24-karat gold coins.
