The Greysheet Catalog (GSID) of the République Libanaise (Lebanese Republic) series of Lebanon in the World Currency contains 35 distinct entries with CPG® values between $4.00 and $675.00.

Despite the 1937 agreement granting exclusive banknote issuance authority to the Banque de Syrie et du Liban, the outbreak of World War II caused a shortage of coinage in Lebanon, prompting the République Libanaise (Lebanese Republic, REP) to issue small change notes beginning in 1942.
