All of the Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) notes are printed by the state-run Security Printing in Wazi (SPW), Myanmar (established circa 1972) under the technical direction of Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) on Giori multi-color intaglio presses. For those notes that bear the printer’s imprint, it appears repeated in a line of microprinted text beneath the base of the Chinthe statue on the front of the notes.
