The 2019 25 Kuna is part of a series of Circulating commemorative coins struck from 2019-2019. Designated as a Business (MS) strike, this coin is made of Bimetallic: copper-aluminium-nickel centre in copper-nickel ring (Core: 92% Cu, 6% Al, 2% Ni, Ring: 75% Cu, 25% Ni).
Obverse: The centre of the coin core features the stylised denomination numeral “25”. Positioned above the denomination numeral and the image of a marten, on the coin’s ring surface, is an image of the coat of arms of the Republic of Croatia. The inscription “REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA” is laid out semi-circularly at the left and at the right of the coat of arms of the Republic of Croatia, along the outer edge of the coin’s ring. The name of the monetary unit “KUNA” is inscribed below the numeral, within the coin's ring, along the outer edge. A common oak branch with acorns is positioned semi-circularly at the left of the name of the monetary unit, on the coin’s ring surface. A laurel branch in bloom is positioned at the right of the name of the monetary unit, on the coin’s ring.
Reverse: The inner part of the core features a partial presentation of the official logo of the University of Zagreb, which consists of the graphically stylised presentation of the central risalit with the staircase of the University building (Rectorate and the Faculty of Law) and the sculpture by Ivan Meštrović, "History of Croats”, which is positioned in front of the entrance to the University building. The period from the year of the founding of the University of Zagreb to the year of release of the coin “1669 – 2019” is inscribed along the edge of the core, below the partial presentation of the official logo. The inscription “350. OBLJETNICA OSNIVANJA SVEUČILIŠTA U ZAGREBU” (350TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDING OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ZAGREB) is laid out circularly within the ring. About CDN Prices

All CDN prices are based on proprietary market knowledge and technology developed by CDN Publishing, LLC.

CPG® prices represent retail levels. Collectors should refer to CPG values as a starting place for their negotiations, or auction bid reference.

Greysheet/Greensheet prices are wholesale market levels for collectible coins/paper money intended to indicate what a dealer, or wholesale, buyer would pay for the described item in the specified grade. Greysheet/Greensheet represent "sight-seen" values based on a buyer's in-hand review. The actual value can be more or less than this depending on factors including eye appeal and market timing.

Bluesheet (NGC & PCGS) prices represent the highest sight-unseen offers to buy on dealer networks like CDN Exchange. In many cases, there are no active sight-unseen buy offers, so CDN looks to the recent lowest market values for such an item. For this reason, Bluesheet values typically represent the floor of the market for the specified item. CDN only tracks Bluesheet on certain items.

CAC prices are for U.S. coins that meet the standards of the Certified Acceptance Corporation. You can learn more about CAC on their web site.

Price movement is indicated for price changes in the last 30 days.

The prices listed in our database are intended to be used as an indication only. Users are strongly encouraged to seek multiple sources of pricing before making a final determination of value. CDN Publishing is not responsible for typographical or database-related errors. Your use of this site indicates full acceptance of these terms.
