The 1963-1963 250 Francs is part of a series of Non-circulating coins struck from 1963-1963. Designated as a Business (MS) strike, this coin is made of Silver (.835).
Obverse: Portrait to the right of Charlotte (1896-1985) with diademe, Grand Duchess of Luxembourg from 1919 to 1964, in the neck a royal crown, signature of the engravers under the portrait. The whole surrounded by the commemorative dates and a double legend in characters of the time.
Reverse: In the center an aerial view of the castle on the rock of the "Bock" as well as of the city with its enclosure, surmounted by the inscription "LVCILINBVRHVC" on a phylactery, face value to the exergue.
