Obverse: Crown of Denmark above an ornate oval shield with Arms of Denmark. Behind the shield is a cross with long and thin arms. A rope circle surrounds the arms touching cross tips and base of the Crown. Legend along the rim, outside the circle.
Reverse: Crown of Denmark at center of a circle, dividing date with the cross at top of it. Below the Crown, but inside the circle, is the King's motto in italic letters. Legend outside the circle, along the rim with Glukstadt mintmark at end.
