NGC® And PMG® Name Whitman Brands™ Official Supply Store

The Certified Collectibles Group® and Whitman Brands are thrilled to announce that Whitman has been named the Official Supply Store of Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) and Paper Money Guaranty (PMG). Through a licensing agreement with Certified Collectibles Group, Whitman will now sell NGC-branded and PMG-branded storage supplies for coin and paper money collectors. The overall objective of the move is to capitalize on Whitman’s established retail and wholesale sales, distribution and marketing channels to deliver an unparalleled shopping experience for collectors seeking high-quality, branded supplies.

Founded in 1987, the Certified Collectibles Group is one of the world’s largest providers of authentication and grading services for collectibles with more than 100 million items certified across all of its categories. In addition to NGC and PMG, which provide numismatic authentication and grading services, the Certified Collectibles Group includes CGC (services for comic books, trading card games, sports cards and other pop culture collectibles), ASG (services for stamps) and JSA (autograph authentication).

As part of this new venture, Whitman will take over the sales, distribution and new product development of NGC- and PMG-branded products previously available direct to consumers through the CCG Store. Initial product launch will include the well-known stalwarts — plastic coin storage boxes, coin flips and paper money pouches — with plans to expand offerings in the future. Most importantly, this agreement serves to underpin increased collaboration between the two companies going forward.

The aim is to create a seamless transition for collectors seeking high-quality supplies. Starting August 15, 2024, customers can conveniently purchase these items from Whitman.com, Whitman's Ebay Store and Amazon, as well as other dealers and retailers nationwide.

To order any NGC and PMG supplies moving forward, customers will directly visit the Official NGC and PMG Supply Stores hosted by Whitman.com in lieu of the former CCG Store. CCG members will not be required to log in to their CCG accounts. Rather, customers can register for an account on Whitman.com to securely and conveniently store their information, preferences and wish lists for future purchases, as well as receive promotions and specials.
