CAC Grading Announces the Much-Anticipated Launch of its New Storage Boxes
Each box is tailored to accommodate CACG, PCGS, and NGC holders.
CAC Grading (CAC) is excited to announce the release of its new custom plastic storage boxes—available now! These sleek and durable boxes are designed to provide collectors with a secure and efficient solution for storing and organizing their coins; finally, the universal coin storage box is here.
The CAC storage boxes, produced by Whitman, reflect both organizations' commitment to quality and innovation in numismatics as well as American-made products. The boxes are produced here in the USA. “Whitman Brands is honored to be selected by CAC Grading to produce these custom boxes in our Alabama factory, to the exacting standards of CAC,” noted John Feigenbaum, CEO of Whitman. He added, “Each box is tailored to accommodate CACG, PCGS, and NGC holders, offering a reliable and collector-friendly option for protecting your treasured coins.”
Starting today, collectors will be able to purchase the CAC plastic storage boxes through the link on the CAC website at www.cacgrading.com/post/the-cac-storage-box-is-here/. Beginning on January 15, 2025, CAC Grading will be returning Express and higher tier submissions in these boxes (grading submissions only, not stickering). For those interested in purchasing boxes in bulk, please reach out to CAC directly at help@cacgrading.com for more information.
A Partnership Built on Trust and Quality
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Whitman, a name synonymous with excellence in numismatics, to bring these boxes to market,” commented John Albanese, CEO of CAC Grading. “This partnership ensures that collectors have access to high-quality storage solutions that align with CAC’s standards of preservation and care,” noted President of CAC Grading, Ron Drzewucki.
Elevate Your Collection Storage
The launch of its plastic storage boxes marks another step in CAC’s mission to provide collectors with tools that enhance their collecting experience. Whether you’re storing a few prized coins or an extensive collection, these boxes offer a practical and visually appealing way to protect and organize your coins.

Boxes will be available for purchase individually through the link on the CAC website at www.cacgrading.com/post/the-cac-storage-box-is-here/, but dealers with bulk storage needs are encouraged to contact CAC at help@cacgrading.com for bulk pricing and options (500 boxes or more). CAC was formed in 2007 by John Albanese, a respected authority on coin grading and the rare coin market, along with twenty-two leading members of the numismatic community. Because certified coins of the same grade can be of varying quality, CAC’s mission was to advocate for the hobbyist by establishing an extremely stringent standard of grading. As a verifier of previously certified coins, CAC only recognizes coins that meet the highest standard with the now famous green sticker. Out of all the coins submitted to CAC, less than half receive the honorable CAC sticker. As a result, the CAC sticker serves as an unmistakable means of identifying premium coins for the grade.
In 2022, John Albanese assembled over one hundred and fifty leading members of the numismatic community with a purpose to reclaim accuracy and consistency in grading. After all, why merely sticker a previously certified coin when the same stringent standards can be applied within the context of a grading service? Thus, CAC Grading was born! The only difference now is the grade assigned to a coin is a true representation of that coin. Boasting a team of world-class graders including Ron Drzewucki, John Butler, among others, CAC is committed to applying an unparalleled level of expertise to every submitted coin. As a result, hobbyists can have total confidence in a coin certified by CAC.
