The 2013-Mo 10 Centavos is part of a series of Coinage Reform of 1992 coins struck from 2009-2019. The specific variety is Reform, Type A2. Struck in Mexico City and designated as a Business (MS) strike, this coin is made of Stainless Steel from a mintage of 399,143,000 struck.
Obverse: At center, above a half wreath of oak and laurel, the national coat of arms with the eagle facing left, its feathers resembling plates of armor. Above, the legend ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS.
Reverse: At the center of (and nearly filling) a circular field, a very large 10¢, with the date and the mintmark M above and below the 0, respectively. To the right and below, a partial border of points and beads, representing blood and jade, from the Anillo del Sacrificio (Ring of Sacrifice) on the Aztec Calendar Stone. The border is angled as on the hexagonal field of the previous type.
