The 2007 100 Pesos is part of a series of Coinage Reform of 1905 coins struck from 2007-2007. The specific variety is Type A3, Tlaxcala. Struck in Mexico City and designated as a Business (MS) strike, this coin is made of Bimetallic; center 0.925 silver, 0.075 copper; outer ring 0.92 copper, 0.06 aluminum, 0.02 nickel from a mintage of 149,465 struck.
Obverse: On the silver center, the national coat of arms with the eagle facing left, its wings resembling plates of armor. On the bronze-aluminum outer ring, the legend ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS above, with a half-wreath of oak and laurel below.
Reverse: Extending across the outer ring and the silver center, from left to right: the Ocotlán Church, the Open Chapel, and the tower of the former Convent of San Francisco behind the Ranchero Aguilar Bullring. Below these, the Government Palace, with $100 just above it. Surmounting all, the coat of arms of Tlaxcala, with the mintmark M to the right. On the outer ring, at the top, ESTADO DE TLAXCALA; at the bottom, 2007.
